[ ]Middle of the Bay
Out far from land, where the city is visible as no more than a streak on the horizon, it is mostly peaceful. There are usually a large number of boats and even the occasional ship out here in the daytime.

[ ]Docks
The docks are where cargo is loaded or unloaded on the many freighters that are stopped in Nexus City at any time. Fishing ships also come here to unload their catches.

[ ]Warehouses
Where cargo is stored before being loaded onto ships, or taken into the city. Also poorly lit, large buildings.

[ ]Grimes River
This river wends its way through the city, looking like a dirty-brown ribbon. The riverbanks are mostly green and there are usually people rowing or kayaking along on the water. But it's not a good idea to drink that water.

A long stretch of sand, sitting just below the streets of the city. People come here to swim, fish, beach comb, or just wander.
Most things in the bay will eventually wash up on a beach.

[ ]Old Asylum
A hundred years ago the asylum was on an inhabited island, which was connected to the mainland by a bridge. A storm hit one night and most of the island fell into the sea along with the bridge. Now only the asylum still stands although pieces keep falling into the sea. No one lives there anymore, although voices have been heard howling in the hallways.

[ ]Navy Docks
A section of the docks is separated from the rest by fences and roadblocks. This is the area where battleships come to be refilled and re-stocked.

[ ]Derelicts Dock
An area of the docks, which contains a number of ships of almost any kind at any given time. They are considered too unsafe for use, and most are in the process of being scrapped, although some are waiting to be sunk.
